Cabbage seeds have been sowed.

Today in Seattle spring finally showed it self with a high of 70 degrees downtown. So along with everyone else in the city I decided to start sowing some seeds. I sowed 216 Cabbage plants today and put them in my cold frame.

Camping in Republic , WA

I just got back from a great weekend of camping in the great northwest. The drive was 5 1/2 hours from Seattle , WA and it was worth it when we finally arrived. There is not much to do it the small town of Republic but fish, swim , drink beer and just have a good time with friends.

Sunflowers Bloom

The sunflowers in my garden are starting to bloom. I have over 40 sunflowers in my garden however, I only planted about 10 of them. This year I planted some red sunflowers that are now blooming and they are a nice size for the garden as they only grow up to 5 or 6 feet.

Raspberry Liquor

Last week my father in law and a neighbor made raspberry liquor. I am not sure what all goes in to it as it was on a need to know basis only. However I think there is lots of raspberry's, bananas, raisins, sugar and water.
